That's the reason I was trying to find an addon that improves the measuring capabilities of FreeCAD, and I've tried the so far suggested few out, but sadly none did really work out, or were not intuitive enough to be used to they would work out as I wanted them.
So I was trying to "just" get the inside diameter of the generated bolts to see which would be the fitting one, only to find out that given the way the "Fasteners" workbench makes them, and the lack of viewpoint edge and other forms of snapping for the measuring tool make this a bigger issue than creating a bolt manually.
